GCI Lunch and Learn: Sustainable & Smart Cities

On Friday, February 5th, the GCI presented “Sustainable + Smart Cities” the first in a series of GCI “Lunch and Learns”. With presentations from Senior Fellow Nico Tillie and Post-Doctoral Fellow Iain Stewart, the event brought together representatives from the City of Toronto (Planning and Environment Departments), several Ontario Ministries including (Housing and Urban Affairs, Environment and Energy) and academics from across the U of T community. The event was chaired by Dean Richard Sommer from the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
